CEPS 5-Year Story Booklet

The Continuing Education and Professional Studies (CEPS) 5-Year Story Booklet was created to reflect on the development, evolution, and achievements of SAIT’s Continuing Education and Professional Studies division since its centralization in 2020. Developed during and in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, this report captures a pivotal journey—from initial restructuring and strategy development to the eventual formation of CEPS as a key sub-division within SAIT’s Corporate Development, Applied Research and International (CDARI) portfolio.

Client: SAIT – Continuing Education and Professional Studies (CEPS)
Role: Lead Designer / Art Director
Deliverables: 16-page printed and interactive PDF booklet
Year: 2025

Design Objective
The goal of the project was to present five years of transformation in a clear, engaging, and accessible format—one that could visually communicate the Centre’s strategic growth, operational changes, and impact on learners and industry partners. The report needed to balance data, narrative, and internal reflection, while remaining professional and reader-friendly.

Design Approach
To achieve this, I followed a structured grid layout, bold typography, and a clean, readable layout. The design drew from established CEPS visual elements but I elevated them to reflect the significance of the five-year milestone. Strategic infographic callouts highlighted key insights and outcomes, while authentic photography captured the real learner experience and impact.

Impact
The booklet was shared with internal stakeholders, faculty, and leadership teams to document progress and spark ongoing conversations about the future of lifelong learning at SAIT. It serves as a strategic reflection piece and a tangible record of growth—aligning with CEPS’s ongoing mission to deliver relevant, high-quality continuing education.
